Teradata SQL Error and Failure Codes from Error 10807to 10812

SQLServerF1

10807 New channel state is incorrect.
Explanation: A chnstate() service request attempted to set a channel to a state that is not valid. This indicates a problem
with the task that issued the request.
Generated By: PDE network channel services.
For Whom: System Support Representative.
Notes: This event normally causes an automatic DBS restart.
The associated stack trace will help the Global Support Center determine the exact cause of the failure.
Remedy: Contact the Global Support Center.

10808 The channel count parameter or returning value exceeded the maximum value, or overflowed.
Explanation: The chncount() or chnsiginit() returns the overflow status. The chncount() returns this error code when the
lastdone coordination via chnsigcount() exceeded the maximum count value, 2 ** 32 – 1. If returned from chnsiginit(), then
PDE detected the count input parameter that exceeds the maximum count value.
Generated By: PDE network channel services.
For Whom: System Support Representative.
Notes: This event may cause a DBS restart.
The associated stack trace will help the Global Support Center determine the exact cause of the failure.
Remedy: Contact the Global Support Center.

10810 chncount() or chndata() was invoked before lastdone coordination.
Explanation: If chncount() or chndata() is invoked before lastdone coordination this error code is returned to indicate
that the count or data is not yet valid.
Generated By: PDE network channel services.
For Whom: System Support Representative.
Notes: This event may cause a DBS restart.
The associated stack trace will help the Global Support Center determine the exact cause of the failure.
Remedy: Contact the Global Support Center.

10811 The grpid mismatch condition occurred during chnsignal or chnsigcount lastdone coordination.
Explanation: The grpid is linked to channel during the chnsignal or chnsigcount lastdone coordination. The same grpid
must be passed to the chnsignal/chnsigcount calls. If PDE detects a different grpid being passed to a given channel during
the lastdone coordination, this error is returned.
Generated By: PDE network channel services.
For Whom: System Support Representative.
Notes: This event normally causes a DBS restart.
The associated stack trace will help the Global Support Center determine the exact cause of the failure.
Remedy: Contact the Global Support Center.

10812 The lastdone group count underflow condition occurred either by chnsignal or chnsigcount.
Explanation: PDE detects a participating VPROC count is greater than the expected VPROC count in the group and it
results the lastdone count to be underflowed. This error is typically caused by members in the group changes (i.e. leave the
group) in the middle of lastdone signalling either by chnsignal or chnsigcount.
Generated By: PDE network channel services.
For Whom: System Support Representative.
Notes: This event normally causes a DBS restart.
The associated stack trace will help the Global Support Center determine the exact cause of the failure.
Remedy: Contact the Global Support Center.

What are Teradata Database Errors?

In general, each Teradata error message contains the following information:
• The message number.
• The message text. This text is usually returned with the message number.
Some messages employ word substitution, where the word substituted
represents the system-replacement of a term more specific to the
occurrence.
• An explanation of how the error may have occurred.
• Generated-by text that indicates the software module which initiated the
message. This field serves a diagnostic purpose for support and
development personnel.
• A remedy which suggests how to resolve the condition.

Hope this was helpful.
